Ruth is the mother of Jamie Greenberg, a celebrity makeup artist and a friend of Thrive Causemetics Founder and CEO Karissa. Named after a kind, funny, positive lady who was truly unique and had a love for life, this shade was made in honor of Jamie’s mom, who passed away from ovarian cancer. Jamie poured her heart into creating this universally flattering, beautiful taupe shade alongside Karissa, and it is now a favorite of many of her celebrity clients. 

Karissa first met Jamie when Thrive Causemetics had its first-ever national TV segment on Good Morning America. Jamie reached out to Karissa with a simple note: “I love what you’re doing, and I want to help.”

Jamie really meant it. She’s been with us every step of the way. In addition to helping formulate our Ruth shade, Jamie introduced Thrive Causemetics to The Ovarian Cancer Circle, an organization that focuses on educating women of all ages on ovarian cancer and funding research to find a cure. Since then, The Ovarian Cancer Circle has become part of the Thrive Causemetics community as a Bigger Than Beauty™ Giving Partner.
