Celebrating Juneteenth with YOU!

On June 19th, we donated 100% of our profits to the charitable organizations YOU nominated that are passionate about racial + social justice and are advancing African-American and Black communities.

We narrowed down the nominations to select 23 charitable organizations who are addressing racial disparities + inequities across a spectrum of issues, including our 4 every day causes: cancer, domestic abuse, homelessness + military service—all issues that have a disproportionate impact on African-American and Black communities due to racism, systemic barriers limiting economic opportunities + a lack of access to proper healthcare in our country.

With your help and for the first time in company history, we donated to 23 organizations in one day. Thanks to YOU, each of the participating organizations received a $5k donation.

Thank you for joining us in commemorating Juneteenth as a day of celebration + day of service, to honor the news of emancipation and the end of the Civil War finally reaching Texas, more than two years after Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation. While this day marks a day of freedom, we also acknowledge the continued anti-racist work needed to make it a reality.

Thank you to our #ThriveCausemeticsFamily who collaborated with us to make this Juneteenth celebration possible. To all of our customers who connected with us– thanks to your input, we formed several new Giving partnerships + friendships with incredible organizations and inspiring community leaders across the U.S that are working tirelessly to uplift African-American and Black communities!

We donated 100% of profits from all purchases to the following organizations in support of racial + social justice and advancing African-American and Black communities:

Thank you Thrive for supporting black communities unfortunately not a lot of other makeup brands do. I’m glad to be supporting this brand.

I love the fact that your company treats us all as equals! When I was a kid going out to catch my bus for school, my Dad would tell me to have a good day, be kind to everyone you meet, and don’t ever, ever judge anyone by the color of their hat. I’m not and have never been prejudice against a color of hat or skin. They are human, just like me. And we are all loved by God! Keep up the good work Thrive as it blesses me too!

I worked at an organization called Urban Dreams last Summer that is ran by a primarily run black organization in the inner city of Des Moines , IA. They help with food for the homeless and those who are less fortunate. They give students who otherwise wouldn’t have a chance to graduate or stay in school the chance to continue their education, they provide, therapy (counseling)) for people who need to express their feelings, they offer job counseling, and they do all this without much city support or monetary help. I would love for you to acknowledge them and give them a grant for all the good they do in our community. Thank you or reading.

I’m a natural woman. Don’t wear makeup, with the exception of mascara & lip stick. Interested in ordering with thrive cause metrics.
Upon reading about your journey, contributions & life work, a light bulb 💡 went off in my mind. I’m so excited 😊
Look forward to doing business with a company that is about cause & effect, not just capitalism.
    My honor, much respect 🙏 👏 🙌 ❤️

LOVE that you are helping us celebrate by donating to agencies that make a difference in African American and Black Communities. I have felt inadequate and overwhelmed figuring out how I can help in some small way. Your list of agencies is helpful, too! So glad to support your plan, and I love your products.
