As back-to-school season arrives, we’re reflecting on a special initiative from May — our Teacher Appreciation Donation Day that YOU made possible! At Thrive Causemetics®, we are deeply inspired by the impact teachers have on their students and communities, and we wanted to show our gratitude. In May, you nominated 30 outstanding educators across 14 states to receive $500 for their classrooms, along with a selection of Thrive Causemetics® products for self-care.

The Meaning Behind the Donation

These donations went far beyond funding supplies. For many of the teachers, this support symbolized recognition and appreciation for their tireless work:

• Mrs. Caudillo: "This donation took me by complete surprise. I feel it is not too often teachers are recognized, let alone by an amazing makeup company! I was able to purchase school supplies and items to help motivate students in small groups. As a teacher, I strive to create a learning environment where my students feel safe and welcome to learn and explore."
• Mrs. Kempner Parker: "This donation has meant a lot to me. I spend almost $500 each year to provide a welcoming and nurturing environment for my students. With Thrive Causemetics®’ donation, I was able to replenish supplies and get items I haven’t been able to in almost six years. I want my students to know I care about them and that our classroom will always be filled with laughter, positivity, and learning."
• Ms. Merante: "This donation means the world to my future students and me! I was able to purchase resources to support my students’ learning in a calm, safe environment where they feel comfortable to take risks and try new things."

Creating Impactful Learning Environments

Many of these teachers shared how they plan to use the donation to enrich their students' education and create lasting impacts:

• Mrs. Reiland: "Every donation is a seed planted in the garden of education. This donation will help my students learn and grow by giving them the tools and opportunities they need. My hope is to leave a lasting impact by nurturing their curiosity and resilience, empowering them to become compassionate individuals who will shape a better future."
• Ms. Hahn: "This donation has been such a blessing and joy! It’s my hope that my students feel cozy and excited to create their best art in our studio! I hope the atmosphere we create will make them feel right at home."
• Mrs. Jones: "Building positive relationships and helping students thrive is important to me. This donation will allow me to purchase supplies students need but don’t always have the means to buy, like notebooks, deodorant, and food. I aim to provide a positive, safe learning environment where students can exceed their potential."
• Mrs. Burns: "Sometimes, as a teacher, you don’t feel appreciated. This donation made me feel valued by a company outside of education. Thrive Causemetics® made it possible for me to get supplies to enhance my lesson plans and make learning more fun for my kids. I can’t thank Thrive Causemetics® enough for showing appreciation and being so kind!"
