"When can we come back to Disneyland and all be together again?"
One child asked us this at Disney Days 2026, and it says everything about why this day matters.
On Saturday, September 26, 2026, over 90 kids in foster care spent a full day at Disneyland with the siblings they rarely get to see. Foster Love's Disney Days is the nation's largest sibling reunification event, and this was our second year in a row showing up for it alongside our longtime Giving Partner.
Eighteen volunteers from Team Thrive Causemetics and our incredible creator community joined as chaperones, including Disney Channel actress Francesca Capaldi, philanthropist Caitlin McHugh Stamos, creator and foster parent Kashia Palmer, and many more inspiring women who made the day extra impactful.
A Fairy Godmother Sleepover
The magic started the night before. Our volunteers checked into hotel rooms filled with surprises for a fairy godmother-themed sleepover, stocked with Thrive Causemetics products and goodies from over 20 brand partners. Over dinner in the hotel garden, our team walked everyone through the day ahead so each volunteer felt ready to give every child a safe, joyful experience.

Letting Kids Be Kids
More than 70% of siblings in foster care are placed in separate homes, so a full day together is rare. From the moment we greeted the Foster Love bus with pom poms, the kids got to do what kids do best: ride, laugh, and explore side by side with the people they love most. Throughout the day, they were surprised with Mickey ears, churros, ice cream, and souvenirs. So yeah, best day ever.
For Keltie Knight, the most powerful part was watching the kids "take off some of the adulting they have to do as foster kids and just be kids."
Christina Perri saw it too: "Every single one of them, at one point, visibly lit up after getting a toy or something that they like. All of a sudden they were playing and laughing with each other... There was like a melting that happened to each of them, and they got to be kids."
Every child also went home with a gift bag of kid-friendly Thrive Causemetics favorites, including Filtered Effects Protecting Primer SPF 37 and Pout Hero Liquid Balm Lip Treatment. Some of the kids could not wait to try them. As Laney Schmitz from our Giving team shared: "I had a set of sisters in my group who couldn't get enough of our makeup, trying it on during every moment they could. At one point I ran out of age-appropriate products to spoil them with, so I placed an order with the 'fairy godmother' to deliver them more at the end of the day. Safe to say they loved it."
Two Years of Disney Days, Seven Years of Partnership
Influencer and superstar chaperone, Jessica Vestal, who grew up in foster care herself, put it simply: "For children in foster care, one of the most important and special things to them is spending time with people that they know are not obligated to give them that time, attention, and love."
