About Give n’ Glow: Beauty for All
Founded in August 2023 by Samantha Asprelli, Give n’ Glow is on a mission to ensure that all women — regardless of their circumstances — have access to beauty and self-care. The organization provides high-quality makeup and skincare products to underserved women, recognizing that beauty is not just about appearance, but about igniting confidence and self-love.
Samantha, a third-year brand management and social innovation and entrepreneurship student at Northeastern University, launched Give n’ Glow as a way to merge beauty with philanthropy.

She believes that access to beauty products can be a catalyst for self-confidence, empowerment, and personal growth, helping women navigate the world with renewed confidence.
A Valentine’s Day Celebration of Self-Care
For Valentine’s Day 2025, Give n’ Glow assembled 1,000 beauty kits filled with Thrive Causemetics products. These kits were distributed to 10 nonprofit organizations across Boston and beyond, serving women in shelters and transitional housing programs.
Some shelters hosted makeovers and makeup tutorials, giving women the opportunity to learn beauty techniques as an act of self-care and empowerment. Others integrated the kits into Valentine’s Day celebrations, ensuring that each woman felt loved, valued, and pampered.
Building Community Through Beauty
More than just a product donation, this initiative created a movement of giving and connection. Samantha brought together first-year Northeastern student volunteers and a women’s community-building group for newcomers to Boston, fostering a shared mission of beauty, empowerment, and kindness.
