Calling all eyeshadow aficionados! We’re developing eyeshadow just for YOU in our Thrive Causemetics® Lab here in Los Angeles. The possibilities are endless with our palettes of four shadows each that will take you from desk to dance floor. Now, we need your help in naming these fierce shades.
All of our products are named after powerful women who inspire us every day with their strength, kindness and spirit. In the comments below, tell us who inspires you and why we should create an eyeshadow shade in her namesake.
Don’t forget to let us know her favorite color (bronze, grey, plum, matte, shimmer etc..).
Once the shade names have been selected, our product development team will reach out to you about the name unveiling process.
Thanks again for being a part of our product creation team!

Please consider matte eye shadows for those of us beyond the age of wanting to shine or sparkle.

My friend Ginny (Virginia) inspires me. And as Aug. 17th is her birthday, I wanted to do something really neat for her. Ginny has been through a lot in her life. And we both have survived abuse which is one of the ties that I believe binds us as friends. For Ginny though she has had yet another battle. Last year Ginny was diagnosed with ovarian/uterine cancer. She has since been through surgery, chemo, and a host of other issues from the cancer. Some she is still dealing with. Last month Ginny had another biopsy and it thankfully came back all clear! And she has completed her chemo! And as only Ginny put it… “I am so flippin’ happy!” Yet through all of this Ginny has been a bright spot for many of us at the office and especially for those of us who consider her a friend. She’s not only a beautiful woman but a caring and giving person as well. Ginny’s favorite color is Teal which is the color for ovarian/uterine cancer. Therefore I think anything that will not only bring out a woman’s eyes but help to light up her face as well. The way Ginny lights up my life and the lives of those of us around her. And for a name I am suggesting Ginny or Virginia if something can be named after someone.
Thank You!
Lynn

My sister Rosie is an inspiration to the people that have been blessed to know her. Rosie suffered an accident a few years ago and is unable to walk. It took her a while to gain strength but she eventually did it. She drives with hand controls, currently studying Art at USC, and is determined to not let anything get in her way. That’s why when I start complaining and whining about how life is not going my way, I often get reminded that other people have gone through some much more hardships than me and have overcome it and succeeded. I admire and love her very much and she inspires me. She has a beautiful bronze skin color and she looks great in golds and browns. I think a great complementary color for her would be a shimmery gold eye shadow. That color is usually our “Go to” color for a day look and just adding a dark color like brown/black on the outer corner of eyes for a night look. I would name the pallete “Goldy Rosy” and include other complementary colors like light and dark brown mattes to use with the gold eye shadow. She would be totally stoked to find out an eye shadow was named after her!

One of the women who inspires me is my best friend Steph. She is a strong, compassionate daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother (although she doesn’t look old enough to be a grandmother!). She’s also a special education teacher who puts everything she has into her students. Steph’s favorite color is green.

My grandma Esperanza (means Hope). Her work ethic determination and faith have been the foundation of her being strong. She has continue to show a house filled with 7 women that when all else has failed, simply hold on to “Hope”. Hope is a simple word but has so much power universally. This color would be a perfect matte or satin chocolate brown maybe with hints of gold flecks. Simple but yet so powerful and used universally. Women would be able to use it all over the eye lid or layer it on the outer corner for a soft smokey effect. You could also be able to use it for a bronzer! “The name would be Hope”

Good morning thrive!
The two women who inspire me are my mom (Claudia) and grandma (Esperanza- means Hope in Spanish)
Mom has been through a lot. Although the times when she wanted to give up she didn’t. She still managed and still manages to go out and persevere. When I think of my mom I think of her taking chances because she tries to live life to the fullest by taking chances. A lilac shimmer shade with pink undertones, this would be the pop of color any woman could wear by taking a chance out of their comfort zone. I know she and every woman would love it! It’s the beautiful pop of color that would be wearable from day to night. The name would be “Taking Chances.”
My grandma is the best woman I know. She has always been my heart. She moved from Mexico to the US for a chance at a better life. She taught herself English by watching Days of Our Lives and other soap operas. Her work ethic determination and faith have been the foundation of her being strong. She has continue to show a house filled with 7 women that when all else has failed, simply hold on to “Hope”.
