MUKUNDWA Safi, a Rwandan genocide survivor, never thought she’d help to run her own nonprofit, albeit one named in her honor.
Meet our namesake: Izzy
The #TeamIzzy Foundation was founded by Izzy just months before she passed after a courageous battle with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer. The organization advocates for children with cancer through awareness, research, and familial support.

In honor of the life and legacy of Breonna Taylor, we are excited to announce a $100,000 donation from Thrive Causemetics® to the UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE BREONNA TAYLOR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND in Nursing. This donation was made possible by our community.
